One of the most exciting things about the upcoming season will be getting to watch one of the NBA's newest duos (Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving) finally play together.

We still have a while to go before we see them in regular-season action, but in a recent Instagram live session, the stars did give us all a hint as to what their offense might look like, and it might involve a lot of post-ups by Kyrie.

Kyrie: "So what about seven post-ups instead of eight?

KD: "I thought we was going to do 2-and-a-half post-ups a game The half one is like I give you the ball in th eopst and you throw it right back to me.

Kyrie: "I feel like every play down I have a mismatch. So I think with that mentality and having a post guard is a great balance.”

KD: "Yeah, we gonna see though."

No matter how you feel about either player at this particular point in time, it is clear they have built a pretty strong relationship since joining forces in Brooklyn. The post-up negotiations may or may not be a joke, but does it really matter?

With Durant, Irving, and a supporting cast that includes Joe Harris, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Caris LeVert, the Nets should be more than capable of living up to expectations.
