Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the NBA. He is highly regarded for his ability to create his own shot against any defender in the league, and there’s no doubt that Durant is one of the greatest scorers of all time.

Off the court, Kevin Durant is often spotted using social media, with him frequently posting on Twitter. Though Durant has often been criticized for him roasting fans on the app, he once noted that players should be encouraged to have interactions with the NBA fanbase on social media.

I don’t see a problem with me interacting with basketball fans, it should be encouraged…steve should’ve also said that I’m never late and I work through every rep in practice with game speed. That should be more interesting than what I do on Twitter.

There is no doubt that Kevin Durant will likely continue to use Twitter, and it definitely is a positive thing that Durant is willing to interact with the fans in this manner. There is no superstar player in the league that is as hilarious on Twitter as Kevin Durant.

Kevin Durant Responded To A Fan Calling Him Out For Only Responding To Haters

Even though Kevin Durant does have a lot of interactions with fans, it seems as though a large number of his Tweets are him responding to his haters. We have oftentimes seen him defend his legacy against his critics.

Recently, an NBA fan called out Kevin Durant for only responding to his haters on Twitter. Kevin Durant ended up finding the Tweet and told the fan to “grow up”, noting that there is “nothing but haters” on Twitter.

Fan: You only get on Twitter to respond to your haters

Kevin Durant: You gotta grow up and realize that nothing but haters reside on Twitter

While it is true that Kevin Durant does get on Twitter a lot to clap back at haters, there’s no doubt that he has a point in suggesting that there are a lot of haters on Twitter. In fact, we often see troll and hater accounts respond to players’ posts online, and they do get a lot of interactions with those Tweets.

As of right now, Kevin Durant is likely preparing for the start of the season with the Brooklyn Nets. The team should be contending for the championship based on the talent currently on the roster, and we’ll see how well they do next year.
