Steph Curry has just released Episode 3 of his new YouTube series ‘Five Minutes From Home’, where none other than close teammate and this year’s Finals MVP, Kevin Durant, makes an appearance.
The YouTube series consists of individual episodes of Steph Curry’s journeys on the road from the Warriors home court, Oracle Arena, back to his home.
In the latest episode, the 3-time NBA Champion rode home with three students from McClymond’s High School. During the trip home, Curry decided he would like to ‘lighten the mood’ by making a FaceTime call to Warriors teammate, Kevin Durant.
Durant had very positive things to say about Steph, telling the high school kids how much he owes him.
"Without the man (Curry) next to you though, I don't know where I'd be right now. I'd still be trying right now. But I owe a lot to that man next to you."
Durant and Curry have achieved back-to-back championships since Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors back in 2016. The two have become one of the greatest duo’s in the game and look to win their third championship in a row this up and coming season.
