Klay Thompson Shares Video Of Him Working Out This Offseason: "Feels Good Not Having To Rehab"

Klay Thompson is one of the greatest shooters in the history of basketball and has overcome a lot to be in the position he is in right now. Thompson is coming off his 4th championship win the same reason he made his NBA return after 2 and a half years spent nursing various injuries.

This is the first offseason since 2018 that Thompson hasn't had to rehab from an injury. From 2019 to 2020, Klay was working really hard to return from his ACL tear. However, he tore his Achilles right before training camp in 2020, so he spent the last summer rehabbing the same injury and returned in January 2022. He showed his gratitude to the Warriors' doctor after winning the title for helping him make his return after the long journey of injuries he had.

Thompson was lucky to enjoy strong health since he made his return and has gone into the offseason completely healthy, finally being able to focus on improving his basketball skill as compared to focusing on getting his body healthy enough for a return. He was overjoyed at this fact in a recent video that he shared while shooting some shots.

"When the hate don't work, they start telling lies. Do you know how good it feels to be in this thing without having to rehab? And with 4 rings? Come on!"

Klay can be an even bigger factor for the Warriors next season as he was clearly still reacclimatizing himself with the game of basketball during the season. He had wild spells of poor form and standout games where he dominated. With some consistency, Klay can be an X-Factor for Golden State again.

The depth of the team has been affected this offseason but Klay will have Donte DiVincenzo as a backup behind him. DiVincenzo can provide a lot of the defense Klay has been unable to since his injury, allowing Klay to focus on being more offensively potent.
