Anthony Davis just joined a very exclusive club on Sunday night when he dropped 50 points on the Minnesota Timberwolves. He added 7 rebounds and 6 assists, making 20 of his 29 shots to close a big night for him in the Lakers’ 142-125 win.
With this performance, AD has now joined Kobe Bryant and LeBron James as the only three Lakers to have a 50-point game this decade.
Kobe Bryant scored 60 against the Utah Jazz in his final game in the league back in 2016, finishing his magical career with a night that Lakers fans won’t forget. Meanwhile, LeBron posted 51 against his former team, the Miami Heat, last season.
Now, Davis became the last player to sign his name on such a great list. Three great players that have done something no one else could this decade.
