Kyle Korver Shares LeBron James' Most Impressive Attribute: "His Ability To Keep Going."

LeBron James and Kyle Korver

During his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat, LeBron James absolutely dominated the Eastern Conference. He made the Finals from the 2010-11 season to the 2017-18 season, and his run even had some calling him "The King of the East".

LeBron James has been a superstar for a very long-time, and his long period of dominance is extremely impressive. When speaking to JJ Redick on his Old Man and the Three podcast, Kyle Korver revealed that LeBron James' "ability to keep going" was his most impressive attribute.

It's one thing to get to the top, it's another thing to stay there. I think what makes him great, his greatest attribute is to do it again tomorrow. His ability to recover in mind, body and spirit on a day to day basis is out of this world. It's unbelievable... His level of dedication to his body and his craft...Michael Jordan, he had to take a break in the middle. After 3.

I'm not here to debate Michael and LeBron. It's a lot to not just be putting in the time, but to take the scrutiny that he does. He deflects it on appearance so easily... He's LeBron James. He's been to the Finals so many times in a row, he's been MVP, all those things. To me, that is his greatest achievement. Is just showing his ability to keep going. To mentally stay focused to do the work that he has to do.

There is no doubt that LeBron James' longevity is one of the reasons that some people consider him the GOAT, and Kyle Korver is certainly right in saying that it's a different challenge for somebody to stay at the top. Due to his longevity, LeBron James will have a chance to catch Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's scoring record, and as Shaquille O'Neal aptly put it, "we all gotta shut the h**l up" if that happens.

It remains to be seen just how long LeBron James will stay at the top, but he really has nothing to prove, as he is already an all-time great. However, it's clear that LeBron James still wants to win more rings, and he'll have an opportunity to get his 5th this season.
