According to Kyle Kuzma, he's playing with some special company. In an interview with Heavy, the Lakers forward shared what it's like to play with the new-look Lakers, offering some very high praise to his teammates.

“It’s just super cool, especially for me as the basketball fan. I’m playing with arguably four Hall of Famers if you think about Dwight [Howard],[Rajon] Rondo in there, AD [Anthony Davis] probably a future Hall of Famer, and obviously, you have LeBron [James]. It’s super cool just to learn, sit back, watch, but also compete against these guys. That is something that I want to do, so to be around those guys and be in the foxhole with those guys is pretty incredible.” Kuzma stated.

With a 10-2 record and the first overall seed in the West, the Lakers clearly have some world-class talent on their roster.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the centerpieces of the team and their combined performance has made the Lakers a very formidable foe in the West. Their greatness is a given at this point.

As for Dwight Howard and Rajon Rondo, while their status as Hall-of-Famers may be arguable, they are crucial members of the roster. Howard is in the midst of a resurgence and is giving the team a much-needed presence around the rim. Though Rondo has only played in two games this season, his veteran experience and playmaking abilities have made an impact.

Where Kyle Kuzma fits into the equation is still being worked out. As the last remaining member of their infamous young core, Kuz was expected to step up as a third scoring option for the offense this year.

He is clearly still figuring out his role and fit with this squad, but Kuzma seems happy to just be playing with exceptional company.
