After a good start to the season, things don’t look very good for the Los Angeles Lakers, who have lost their last four games. The last one came against their city rivals Clippers, losing a considerable advantage in the last minutes of the game.
Now that the Lakers aren’t having the best time, their doubters are coming out, and they appear to be closer than expected. For instance, Kyle Kuzma’s trainer Clint Parks called out LeBron James after the Lakers’ loss to the Clippers on Christmas Day.
“Watching Kawhi highlights from yesterday. NOBODY wants to speak on how sharp his skill set is compared to Lebrons. It’s clear who’s really in the LAB and who isn’t. Let me hear the excuses I’m on vacation I got nothing but time,” Parks wrote on Instagram.
“Turn the film on. Somebody was dodging SMOKE yesterday and it wasn’t Kawhi,” he continued.
Kuzma didn’t say anything on the comments but released a tweet that read: “Call a spade a spade,” which he deleted shortly after publishing it.
Bron is looking good this season, his 17th in the NBA. He’s missed just one game this term and is averaging 34.9 minutes, 25.7 points, 10.6 assists, and 7.6 rebounds.
Kuzma, on the other hand, is seen as a good trade piece if the Lakers decide to make another deal this season. The forward was expected to be the third star on the roster, but that hasn’t happened. Rumors suggest the Lakers could look to add a third scorer before the deadline, so Kuzma could be on his way out of L.A. soon.
