LeBron James will miss last six games of the season, the team announced Saturday:

"After consulting with our team doctors and medical staff, we have decided to hold LeBron out of games for the remainder of the season," Lakers president Magic Johnson and general manager Rob Pelinka said in a statement. "This decision will allow his groin to fully heal, and is best for the future success of both LeBron and the Lakers."

Once again (sixth-straight season), Los Angeles Lakers will not play in the NBA Playoffs for and this is a good decision because LeBron can now fully recover from a strained groin injury.

After 8 consecutive NBA Finals and 13 straight playoff appearances, one of the best players in NBA History will not play in the playoffs.

He finishes the season averaging 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 55 games.

Lakers' management will have a very important summer because many superstars like Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving will be free agents.

LeBron James is 34 years old and he can't wait and waste one more season with the young' Lakers team.
