LaMelo Ball has seen how his stocks have gone up in recent hours. Lonzo Ball’s brother has had a sweet moment in Australia, posting some good numbers with the Illawarra Hawks, which has taken some experts to believe he could be a potential No. 1 pick in 2020 NBA draft.

According to ESPN's Jonathan Givony, Ball was not seen wearing any Big Baller Brand merchandise during the recent NBL Blitz pre-season tournament in Australia; instead, he was spotted wearing some Nike gear.

Moreover, this good moment has reportedly taken his camp to negotiate with multiple brands, but it remains to be seen which shoe LaMelo will wear once he made it to the NBA.

It’s mandatory to say that Ball’s father, LaVar, was heavily involved when LaMelo's brother, Lonzo Ball, went No. 2 overall to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2017 NBA draft. LaVar made Lonzo the face of Big Baller Brand. However, the company has enjoyed minimal success, and Lonzo has since moved on from BBB after a couple of controversies.

It’s understood that LaVar has almost nothing to do with LaMelo and his current good shape, as he’s had ‘minimal contact’ with his son’s team, or his former high school coach, who now is in charge of training and mentoring LaMelo.

Ball is reportedly establishing himself as one of the top prospects in the 2020 NBA draft class after some reports suggested he was going to be a No. 6 overall pick next year. Fortunately, he’s turned things around, especially after recently registering 19 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists against the current NBL champions, the Perth Wildcats.
