LeBron James’ On What He Wants For His And Bronny’s Future: “I Want To Be On The Court With Him. I Think That Will Be An Unbelievable Moment.”

LeBron James has recently turned 37-years-old, but the King still seems to have a lot in his tank. Throughout the 2021-22 NBA season, James has continued to impress fans with his phenomenal performances. In fact, if the Los Angeles Lakers end up as a top-4 seed in the West, LBJ might even have a chance of winning the regular-season MVP award.

While that sounds great, what fans really want to see happen is still a few years ahead. They want to see LBJ share the court with his son Bronny James. Bronny is of course quite popular for being LeBron's son. Apart from that, the 17-year-old also seems to have a great talent for playing basketball.

He is already making a name for himself at the high school basketball level. Many expect him to be one of the brightest stars entering the NBA in 2024. Talking about Bronny coming to the NBA, it will be quite awesome if he can play alongside LeBron.

Thinking about this potential duo gets not only fans, but LeBron James excited as well. In a recent video posted on Instagram by "Uninterrupted," James was asked what he wants for Bronny's future. LBJ replied:

"I want him to be in the NBA. I am not going to lie. I want to be on the court with him. I think that will be an unbelievable moment. He's about to be a junior so the years, it could get close, but we should see, but I want him to get to the NBA."

LeBron James is currently under contract with the Lakers until the end of the 2022-23 NBA season. This means his contract will end with the purple and gold a year before Bronny will be able to enter the NBA.

If the league and NBPA change the high school-to-pro rule, Bronny can enter the NBA the same year Bron's contract expires with the Lakers. However, there is a very small chance that the Lakers will get a high pick and draft Bronny.

So, in case, fans want to see the father-son duo playing for the same team, it is quite probable that it will not be for the Lakers. Anyway, there is still some time in that happening. Until then, fans can only speculate about this.
