LeBron James

The New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics battled out in an amazing season opener that went until double-overtime. At the end of the final buzzer, the Knicks came out on top, but it was a close fixture. With a margin of just four points, the Knicks bagged in their first victory of the season.

If you are an NBA fan, the game must have had you on the edge of your seat from the start to the end. Fans loved the competitiveness that both sides displayed, but there could only be one winner.

Apart from fans, the game even had the attention of most NBA players as well. Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was among them and had an amazing reaction to the fixture.

"This game is wild!! The garden rocking! No way anybody gone be able to get out the bed tomorrow though! Lol. Burnt toast"

The hilarious remark about the thriller by James was completely true. After it was all said and done, the players must have felt completely exhausted. This is the beauty of this game and the reason why it has such a strong fan base from all around the globe.

Knicks forward Julius Randle, who had a sensational game, talked about being exhausted in the post-game conference.

"I can't wait to go home and lay in the bed I swear. I don't even know If I'm hungry enough to eat, I'm so tired... First game back, sheesh. Goodness, I'm tired, but we gotta go we gotta go."

Randle continued his red-hot form and managed to score 35 points in the season opener. Apart from Randle, Evan Fournier had a sensational game and finished the night with 32 points in his bank.

All things considered, this new-look Knicks team looks scary. If they can continue to show this level of commitment and desire to win games early in the season, they might be on the way to causing some great upsets in the 2021-22 NBA season.

But as far as their ceiling is considered, as of now, making it to the playoffs must be the number one goal in the players' and the franchise's minds.
