Criticism is nothing new to LeBron James. Since he entered the league, people questioned whether he was good enough. Now, as he closes one of the worst seasons of his career, people are questioning whether he still has enough left in the tank.
LeBron recently took to Instagram with a message for those doubters...
He is not worried about what they might be saying, he is just going to keep on being himself.
Hopefully, it fuels LeBron to come back stronger than ever in the fall. After suffering a groin injury on Christmas Day, James missed out on most of the second half of the season. It was announced earlier that he would be shut down completely for the last six games of the year.
This summer, the team will have to pull themselves out of the gutter. Getting Anthony Davis, or one of the other prized free agents will certainly help. Changes will be needed,m that much is clear.
But the team can only go as far as LeBron takes them. If even for one more year, he has to show the world he is not quite done being a dominant force in the NBA. Saturday night, he let the haters know.
