LeBron James Says It Would Be "Amazing" If The Lakers Acquired Anthony Davis

The Lakers don't need LeBron's consent to pursue a guy like Anthony Davis. It's a given.

Making his life easier should be their goal though, and Davis would definitely help in that regard -- and then some.

LeBron James is one who would agree, citing that he'd be pretty blown away if the Lakers were able to pull off the impossible.

"That would be amazing," James told ESPN about acquiring Anthony Davis. "That would be amazing, like, duh. That would be incredible."

So, clearly, the guy wants to play with Davis. Who wouldn't? At just 25 years old, there's not a whole lot the guy can't do. He's averaging an astounding 28 points and 12.4 rebounds per game for the Pelicans. With LeBron, there's no telling how high those number might go.

To make it happen, however, it'd likely mean they would have to let go of Brandon Ingram, their beloved 2016 NBA Draft pick.

It's a risky move, no doubt, but do not the positives outweigh the negatives? The Lakers would please LeBron, become instant title favorites, and would have a guy to help carry the squad for years to come, long after The King's contract expires.

The bigger question now is how long they're going to wait around before finally giving in.
