LeBron James is well-known for being one of the best superstars in the NBA, and he is one of the most iconic figures in the league. What's particularly special about LeBron James is his longevity. James has won NBA titles in 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2020, and he has been dominant for the majority of the 2010s. This season, LeBron James is still playing at a high level and putting up MVP-caliber production. He is currently averaging 25.9 PPG, 6.6 RPG, and 6.8 APG.

It was recently reported that LeBron James has officially spent half of his life in the NBA. There are a lot of ways one can illustrate the fact that LeBron James has had legendary longevity, and this is one of them.

The 2003 NBA Draft (26 June 2003) was 6,752 days after LeBron James' birth (30 December 1984). Today is 6,752 days after the NBA draft. So today, LeBron James has officially spent as much time in the NBA as he has before he was in the NBA.
Tomorrow, he will have spent more of his life in the NBA than before the NBA.

LeBron James himself saw a Twitter post depicting this fact and was definitely surprised that he has spent that much time in the league. It's certainly crazy to think about, and he's not even close to being done with his career yet.

There are not a lot of players that last as long as LeBron James has in the NBA. There are even fewer that still play at a superstar level at the age of 36. What LeBron James is doing is absolutely special.

Despite his individual excellence, the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers have been an inconsistent team all year. They have not gone on a large-winning run yet, and their record is not one of a championship-caliber team. With that being said, it is quite possible that they are able to turn it around, and perhaps we'll see LeBron James help the Los Angeles Lakers move upwards in the standings.
