Just like his team, Lonzo Ball didn't have the best time in the Orlando bubble, struggling to get his best game, failing to help the New Orleans Pelicans to make the playoff this season.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player was improving his game and before the shutdown, he was actually clicking with rookie sensation Zion Williamson. Now, things were different; we saw a glimpse of that great association with Zion but nothing really meaningful.
The Pelicans were eliminated of playoff contention on Sunday after a loss against the San Antonio Spurs and the victory of the Portland Trail Blazers in front of the Philadelphia 76ers. Right now, the Pels are 2-4 in the bubble, without any chance to transcend past the regular season. Lonzo's performances were worth noting and Bleacher Report sent a tweet with Ball's numbers in the bubble, which aren't any good, and the player didn't like it.
Well, the oldest Ball brother was quick to reply and issued a warning to the person behind the account.
"Make sure y’all post my shit next year too #TMC," Lonzo wrote.
Just like several other players, Ball has struggled to play well inside the bubble. That affected him and his team, but next season might be a lot better for Zo. Back in March, he was just fine, finding the regularity he lacked with the Lakers and the first months in New Orleans.
He is still young and even though people already see him as a bust, Lonzo can turn things around and be a helpful player for his squad.
