Kawhi Leonard has shocked the world by choosing the Clippers, but he is not coming alone. Paul George is on his way as well to raise hell in L.A.

Kawhi Leonard's decision was the topic of discussion around the NBA world for the past couple of days, but boy he really did shake up the league with this move. He is set to sign a 4 year 142$ million dollar deal with the L.A. Clippers. This was not the biggest surprise though. It was what the Clippers front office did. The organization mortgaged their future to win now with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

The Clippers were demanded by Kawhis camp to go out and get Paul George off the Thunder. And they did just that by sending SGA, Danilo Gallinari and a massive package of future first-round picks. This news, in my opinion, has the Clippers as the favorite not only in the West but in the entire league. The NBA has radically changed based on one man's decision. And the league is now wide open for anyone to take Toronto's Crown.

The teams that were in contention for Kawhi were both L.A. team and Toronto. Since free agency started the biggest question was where will Kahwi land? Well, many sources said that the Lakers were the frontrunners to land the Klaw. But many also thought that the Raptors were the front runners. But in the end, no one knew what was going on clearly. The Clippers landed not one All-Star but two All-Stars. These signings single-handedly have changed the landscape of the NBA and balance is now put back in a league that was dying for that component.

The Western Conference is now up in the air. The Clippers are at the top and the Lakers come in at two. For the rest of the West, well that is wide open. You can not count out the Warriors just yet, the Utah Jazz have made big moves in free agency and the Rockets are retaining most of last years roster. It will be a fun and competitive season next season nonetheless.

The fit of Kawhi and Paul George will be amazing for not only the defense but for the offense. Doc Rivers is working with Pat Bev who signed a 3-year deal worth 40$ million, Landry Shamet, Lou Williams, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard and Montrez Harrell. This lineup will be deadly next season. On defense, you have arguably 3 of the top 10 defenders in the NBA being PG 13 and the Klaw and one of the all-time pests Pat Bev.

On offense, the Clippers now have three closers. That being Kawhi, PG and Lou Williams whom all have that killer gene to win and to close games. This brings another aspect to the Clippers offense which will help the Clippers get to the Western Conference Finals potentially.

According to Jeff Sherman, Clippers are the 2019-20 NBA title favorites.

The Clippers have done it, the organization has patiently waited for the right time to go all-in for free agents of this capacity. Yes, they traded most of their future picks and a bright star in SGA, but this was a move that had to made to bring a title to the Clippers. This outcome for the Clippers is bittersweet because the organization captured a player that rivalry Lakers also wanted. And that in itself is a victory.
