The Dallas Mavericks are gearing up for a playoff push, but it doesn't mean they don't have enough time to troll each other on the internet.
Earlier this week, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted out an update about the bubble regarding the players' ability to bring one ticket per playoff game for a guest and an additional admission for a child (32 inches and below).
Of course, Luka took it as an opportunity to roast one of his teammates...
5’10 Barea is the only Maverick under six-feet and Doncic stands at 6’7. There's a clear height disparity there and it seems to be a running joke within the Mavs organization.
Fansided's Tyler Watts detailed Barea's response before assuring us the exchange was all in "good fun."
J.J. responded in Spanish with what translates to “Tomorrow we talk about this”. Luka expressed his excitement about that too. The 5’10 Barea is the only Maverick under six feet tall this season. Doncic stands 6’7. The jokes were all in good fun.
It seems there is nothing but good vibes for the Mavs right now, and it's exactly the type of thing they'll need going into their playoff battle against the L.A. Clippers.
It will be one heck of a show to witness.
