The Los Angeles Clippers aren't doing much noise but they're playing great basketball right now. The Los Angelenos team started this season with plenty of doubts surrounding them after the fiasco they lived in the Orlando bubble. They don't have as many expectations as last year and that could play in their favor, especially knowing there are more teams expected to compete with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Well, this season has started just fine for the Clippers, who changed their management and head coach during the offseason. Tyronn Lue is taking this team to the next level and they're currently on a 6-game winning streak after Friday's 120-106 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Kawhi Leonard (31 PTS, 8 REB, 3 STL, 2 BLK, 10/21 FG, 10/10 FT) and Paul George (29 PTS, 7 REB, 5 AST, 1 STL, 10/19 FG, 3/7 3FG) led the way for their team, showing they are going through a sweet moment.
Things are looking very fine for them but nobody on the roster thinks that's enough reason to celebrate. For instance, Marcus Morris revealed they aren't done yet and this streak is nothing to be celebrating.
"We're gonna lose some games. The biggest thing is to not get too high or too low," Morris said after the Clips' win over OKC.
This is a very good moment for the Clippers, and even some doubters are realizing this team is showing different things than last year. We still have a lot of time until the 2021 playoffs but they're playing great basketball and looking like a big candidate to come out the West.
