Marcus Morris Says He's The Best Player To Defend LeBron James In The League Other Than Kawhi Leonard

Not many players in NBA history can say that they're literally unguardable by the opposition.

A few big names spring to mind. Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal, peak Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are probably the handful of players who can rightfully say they're unguardable on most nights.

Some players have even made names for themselves in the NBA by being named 'LeBron stoppers', signed for the sole reason of containing LeBron James in a playoff series. Obviously, most 'LeBron stoppers' have failed at their task, as James has been to the past seven straight NBA Finals, fending off all-comers.

The Boston Celtics' Marcus Morris however, thinks he's the guy that can once and for all end LeBron's Eastern Conference dominance.

Speaking to The Athletics Jay King, Morris said he's the best LeBron defender in the league other than Kawhi Leonard.

LeBron has faced off against Morris 15 times in his career, and in those 15 games, averages 26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists on 52% shooting. On top of that, in their most recent playoff meeting, back in 2016, LeBron and the Cavs swept Morris' Detroit Pistons in the first-round.

History -- or form -- is not on Morris' side for the upcoming series, but in the playoffs, anything can happen.
