Markieff Morris has had enough of the criticism he's received since that Game 5 fiasco where he and Danny Green missed big chances to give the Lakers a victory that would have sealed the deal for them against the Miami Heat.
With 10 seconds remaining on the clock, Green missed a wide-open 3-pointer and when Markieff grabbed the rebound in the next play, he had LeBron James ready to take the shot and win the game and decided to go in a different direction, throwing the ball out of bounds, ending the Lakers' hope to win the match.
In the end, the Heat won 111-108 after a terrific performance by Jimmy Butler, but that doesn't change the fact that Morris and Green are to blame for those mistakes late in the 4th quarter. Following the game, Morris sent a message, probably aimed at the Lakers fans who blasted him after that bad play. Morris made it clear that now he knows who are the ones with him and the ones who aren't, promising that the Lakers are back.
"Best thing about a loss is you get to really see who’s with you and who ain’t. #werightback," he tweeted on Saturday morning.
Markieff is not happy with how things went for him and his team during that last game and he's ready to bounce back tonight and try to get a W for the Lakers. This guy will be more motivated than ever but he'll face a team with a big desire to extend this series and force the seventh game.
