Stephen Curry Becomes First Player To Make 500 3PT Shots In The NBA Playoffs

Stephen Curry is one of the most prominent superstars in this generation of basketball players. His 3PT shooting changed the game of basketball itself, and he clearly made a huge impact on the sport.

In terms of legacy, Stephen Curry is already an all-time great. He will always be remembered for what he has done during his career, but another championship would certainly put him in the conversation as a top-10 player of all time.

Former Warriors forward Matt Barnes has recently stated that he wants Stephen Curry to win a fourth championship this year, claiming that "he deserves it", and adding that people who don't like the point guard are just haters:

"It would be huge and he deserves it. If you don't like Steph Curry, then you're just a hater. What can you really not like about him? ... He's a selfless superstar."

Matt Barnes' statement suggesting that Stephen Curry is hard to hate is fairly true. He is a superstar that is willing to elevate role players and help get them easy opportunities. He is also a player that is almost unstoppable when he gets hot from 3PT range, and it's amazing to watch him shoot from way deep to demoralize the opposing defense.

There is definitely a good chance that the Golden State Warriors will be in the NBA Finals this season. They will be facing the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, and from a talent standpoint, they will definitely have an advantage. However, we just watched Mavericks star Luka Doncic take down the No. 1 seeded Phoenix Suns, so this series won't be easy for the Warriors by any means.

Hopefully, we see Stephen Curry show out in the Western Conference Finals. He has shown that he can still lead a contending team this year, and perhaps we'll see him get to the Finals once again.
