On the court, Michael Jordan played with a certain level of confidence and intensity that few have ever been able to match. He gave his all every game and pushed his teammates at every turn.

By all accounts, he was a tough, no-nonsense type of player, and that’s exactly the way he led his team throughout their run in the 90s.

Apparently, MJ has gone a little soft in retirement, however, as daughter Jasmine jokingly revealed in a video feature for Togethxr:

“Michael Jordan, the grandpa, is soft,” Jasmine said, via Meredith Cash of Insider. “My son definitely has my dad wrapped around his finger.

He loves being a grandfather, and my son is his first grandchild.”

It’s pretty wholesome that MJ’s grandchild has him under such a spell, but we’ve always known that the guy really cares for his family. No matter all the fame and fortune he achieved over the years, he never lost sight of what mattered the most

For Jasmine, she has carved out her own legacy and has become more than just the daughter of basketball’s All-Time biggest star. The hard work she saw in her father growing up helped push her to make her own success.

“I love to work,” Jordan-Christmas said. “I love knowing that, at the end of the day, my son gets to see me get up and go after it versus just sitting at home, riding on the coattails of my father. He instilled hard work and commitment, and it was all I saw.

When people say that I’m only me because of who my father is, I laugh,” she added. “There’s not one person that has encountered or worked with me that would agree with that statement.”

All-in-all, it’s great to hear about the NBA’s royal family. And while Jordan’s high-flying days seem like an eternity ago now, he’s out there living his absolute best life as a grandpa.
