Zion Williamson has been a great addition to the New Orleans Pelicans after they selected the Duke University product with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. The kid landed there to create a very good group of players with Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball and more. After a troubling rookie season with the Pels, Zion is ready to demonstrate his best game.

According to reports, he lost over 25 pounds in the offseason and the Pelicans can't be more excited about it. He's already showing flashes of the things he can do in his NBA career, drawing a lot of comparisons with legends of the past. Monty Williams, who coached Zion in his first season in the NBA, had a good way to describe the player, even comparing him to one of the bigs in the game.

Williams explained that when he sees Zion, he sees Charles Barkley, one of the greatest NBA players who never won a championship.

"He's just a force. There really isn't any other way to describe him," Williams recently said.

Even though Zion didn't play as many games as he wanted last season, we saw that he's ready to become a superstar in the league and one of the faces of the NBA in the future. The Pelicans got a gem when they selected Zion and their future looks very bright with Williamson leading the way.
