NBA Agents Think Kevin Durant And Kyrie Irving Are Debating On Who Will Get To Sign In New York First

The media has drummed up the arrival of Kevin Durant to the Knicks all season long. In fact, some within the league are so positive of the futures of KD/Kyrie, that they insist the pair is debating on who gets to break the news first.

“So sure are some executives and player agents of a Durant-Irving pairing in New York that one agent told The Athletic that Durant and Irving are debating on who will sign first”

The KD/Kyrie to Knicks narrative has been unfolding all year. Most are speculating Durant will leave the Warriors, due to a desire to repair his legacy. Kyrie Irving is also not guaranteed to stay in Boston, not with how their season has blown up.

By the All-Star break, the two were supposedly acting like a "middle school couple," spending most of their time together, alone, and having a good time.

Let us not forget the surprising move by the Knicks when they traded Kristaps Porzingis for cap-space in apparent preparation of something big.

All things considered, it certainly appears likely that the Knicks end up with someone by the end of the summer. Whether or not that will include KD and Kyrie is up in the air, but those inside the league are already convinced that is indeed the case.
