The Brooklyn Nets have made sure to send a message to the rest of the league. They are here to win and will do anything they can to make sure that's going to happen. On Saturday, it was reported that LaMarcus Aldridge would join the team now, which sparked a lot of reactions around the league.
They have assembled a superteam now after Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge signed with them and NBA fans don't see this as a fair thing. After the news broke, NBA fans took to social media to talk about LeBron James compare this situation to one that he will live on the big screen. This time, reality copied fiction but the King could face the real-life Monstars if he makes it to the Finals this season.
A lot of fans said that this situation is very similar to playing the Monstars in Space Jam and they made a lot of jokes about it while debating and trying to explain the ramifications of these moves.
"For the first time in life I support LeBron James," someone said, which is the perfect explanation to how unfair people think the Nets are right now.
LeBron is currently sidelined with an injury and although he hasn't said anything about these moves, he is probably getting motivated after seeing how the rest of the league improved their level to beat him and his Lakers. Not only the Nets did a good job landing new players; the Sixers, Heat, and even the Clippers landed big players and the competition just got harder for the purple and gold.
If they manage to come out of the West, they will have to face the final boss in the Finals and that looks scary for a lot of people.
