NBA Fans Celebrate After Warriors Win Game 5, Secure Another Trip To NBA Finals: "The Warriors Are The Best Dynasty Since The Jordan Bulls"

The Dallas Mavericks season has finally ended at the hands of the Golden State Warriors. After the Warriors took a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals, many expected the Mavs to be swept out of the playoffs. But, they forced a Game 5 but ran out of gas to fight through this game.

Golden State took a massive lead by halftime but allowed the Mavericks to get back into the game in the third quarter. Although, the championship-laden franchise shut the taps in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks couldn't wrestle the lead away from the team that are now the Western Conference Champions.

Steph Curry was awarded Western Conference Finals MVP, as fans took to Twitter to talk about what this game means for the team going to the NBA Finals and what it means for Luka Doncic, whose Mavericks had a sensational season where they overachieved.

The Warriors won this series through team effort. Everyone played their role to an extremely high level, with Steph Curry not even being the primary weapon on many nights. Kevon Looney was a dominant force on the inside, while Andrew Wiggins played with remarkable consistency and as one of the best defenders in the series.

Klay Thompson had a retro Game 5, with his scoring barrage putting the game out of the Mavericks' hands in the first half. Luka Doncic had a nightmarish first half to the game but came back strong to bring the Mavericks back into the game in the third quarter.

Dallas' legs gave out as the team was looking evidently gassed through the series. Nonetheless, they fought hard and now the Golden State Warriors get a few days off as they wait for the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat to wrap up their Eastern Conference Finals matchup.
