The Chicago Bulls’ 1998 season was not without its share of drama and adding to it was Dennis Rodman’s infamous 48-hour trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the 1998 finals against the Utah Jazz.
Now, a movie surrounding Rodman’s adventures in those two days is in the works. Titled ‘48 Hours in Vegas’, the flick is set to focus on the “madcap adventure” that ensues after the Bulls’ main defensive presence took a break in the middle of what would be a defining season for the franchise.
Fans have their two cents to share with the news doing the rounds. Jonathan Majors is in early talks to play the NBA superstar. Here’s what fans had to say when news of the movie in development broke.

My initial thought was “he doesn’t even look like Dennis Rodman” but I quickly came to the realization that nobody on the planet looks like Dennis Rodman except for Dennis Rodman

Lord and Miller are such a great duo. They directed The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and the 21 Jump Street duology.

Dennis Rodman’s WWE Appearance During The 1998 NBA Finals Had The Team Stunned
Anyone who watched ‘The Last Dance’ will remember Michael Jordan being unhappy with coach Phil Jackson’s decision to let Rodman blow off some steam in the middle of a series.
And then came the jolt for the team when they heard that the power forward had teamed up with wrestler Hulk Hogan to make a WCW appearance. In a WWE Chronicle documentary on Rodman that was produced for the network, the wrestler relived the conversation with Jackson.
“I’ve got Phil Jackson calling me, going, ‘Where’s my guy at, where’s my guy at?I’m going, ‘Rodman, Phil Jackson keeps blowing up my phone, you gotta go back, [and Rodman] says, ‘I don’t wanna go back.'”
Rodman eventually went back to join the Bulls and played Game 4. It was a game to remember as he gave his best performance of the series which the Bulls won 86-82 and took a 3-1 series lead. Rodman played more than 29 minutes and had 14 rebounds to his name.
