The NBA Is Removing Warriors Games From National TV

With ratings down, and 3/4 of the season still to go, the NBA has begun removing the Warriors from the national spotlight. According to the AP’s Brian Mahoney, the 3x Champs will not be featured on national television in upcoming weeks, with ESPN dropping the Western Conference franchise from December 13 and 18 games.

After early belief that the Warriors would remain in the Western Conference playoff picture, multiple injuries and insurmountable offseason losses quickly turned the season into a disaster.

With Steph, Klay, Draymond, and Russell missing significant chunks of time, their current lineup of players resembles something more of a G-League than it does the reigning Western Conference Champions.

This season, the Dubs have the NBA's worst record at 4-18 and sit at the very pit of the conference.

The NBA has finally taken action, replacing their games with teams that will draw a much bigger audience.

Next season, however, you can expect things to be very different.
