This NBA season bears more excitement than most. With a number of NBA stars having changed franchises, the league is in for its most competitive season yet -- and no shortage of storylines to match.
The new state of the league is, perhaps, no better showcased than during the NBA's annual Christmas Day games, where the best and most exciting teams face off in a slate of matchups.
Today, the full lineup of those games has been released, and it's all anyone has been talking about since.
Lakers vs Clippers will headline the day, but all of the matchups are worth a watch for storylines alone. Can the young Pelicans beat a Western Conference foe? Will Russ and Harden assert their dominance over the reigning Western Champs? Can Ben Simmons and company get revenge for their series loss in last year's playoffs?
But perhaps the biggest question of all is who got snubbed? There are a few teams noticeably absent from the list, including the new-look Nets, Damian Lillard and the Blazers, and the Utah Jazz (to name a few).
It will be interesting to see how these teams react to being left out one of the NBA's most popular events.
