NBA Rumors: 4 Teams Are Lining Up To Sign Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker is not the sexiest name on the free agent market this summer, but it's hard to go wrong with a 6'1" 29-year-old point guard who can score almost anywhere on the floor.

Coming off a season averaging nearly 26 points per game, Walker is sure to seek max dollars when he becomes a free agent in July. A number of teams may be obligated to give it to him, too, according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders.

If Charlotte drops the ball on negotiations, expect the Magic, Pacers, Knicks, and Lakers to start their pursuits.

Whether or not the Hornets, or any team, signs Kemba depends on how much they are willing to pay him. He is eligible to sign a supermax deal with Charlotte, but there have been questions about the team's willingness to go into the luxury tax. And considering Walker is far from the best player available this summer, will these teams have money left to offer the 3x All-Star the deal he desires?

By all means, the situation is still very much a mystery. But do not think for a second that Kemba Walker will not have his options open this summer.
