The Lakers are in the market for a scoring point guard, and there are few who can check that box like Jamal Crawford. Jamal, who turned 39 earlier this year, is a 3x Sixth Man of the Year and has been among the league's top isolation scorers since his debut in the early 2000s.

After his stint in Phoenix ended last season, he has remained an unsigned free agent. In a report published earlier this week, Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Heavy named the Lakers are the next possible destination for the veteran scorer.

Names like the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers are believed to be interested in Crawford.

The Los Angeles Lakers are 11-2 and currently have the best record in the National Basketball Association. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are clicking.

“If we’re looking for a scorer, he’s definitely on that list,” Davis was further quoted as saying.

“He can score at will. He knows the game, very crafty with the ball, so if we’re looking for a scorer, then he’s definitely a guy I can see us going after.”

The Lakers have been looking to fill a roster spot for weeks now, with names like Jae Crowder and Andre Iguodala coming to the surface.

If those options fail to materialize, you can expect L.A. to look very hard at signing Crawford before the end of the season.
