NBA Rumors: Two All-Star Forwards Want To Play For The Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors had an awful 2019/20 season, boasting a league-worst 15-50 record that will give them a lottery pick in the upcoming 2020 NBA draft. The league announced a 22-team return for the campaign, which ended the Warriors season, and now they can focus on their next moves ahead of next season, where they are expected to be relevant again.

This season they faced the departure of Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets, Klay Thompson didn't play a single game while Stephen Curry broke his hand and only played 5 games in the entire season. One could say this damaged their image in the league, but that's far from reality. Rumors suggest that some players want to join the Dubs next season.

According to Sam Esfandiari of Warriorsworld Radio, two All-Star players have expressed their desire to join the Warriors in the offseason.

Moreover, Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that veteran free agents are eyeing a move to the Bay once the season is over.

The names remain undisclosed, but the Warriors have been linked with great players in recent times. One of the biggest names on their radar is Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they're seemingly still looking for options to land the Greek Freak.

Andre Iguodala left the team last summer to make room for D'Angelo Russell, who landed from the Nets via sign-and-trade. D'Lo's experiment didn't work for the Dubs and Iggy returning to the Warriors doesn't seem like a bad option for them.

We'll have to wait until October and see what they do in Draft night and what decisions they'll make after that night. The only thing we know now is that they're not missing candidates to join the team.
