Houston Texans star Will Anderson Jr. has made a name for himself with his exceptional play on the gridiron, but he’s also well-known for one other reason. Anderson bears a striking resemblance to Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James, which led to his father, LeBron James, hilariously calling the defensive end his fourth child.
Anderson was recently asked if he’d heard about LeBron’s comments, and it turns out he loved them.
“Yes, I did,” Anderson said. “Usually I’d feel offended if another grown man called me his son, but I was like, ‘It’s LeBron James, so that’s GOATed.’ So, I’m cool with that. I don’t mind being a LeBron James son.”

You can see that resemblance to Bronny there. Now, this all came up after Anderson attended Game 6 of the first round series between the Lakers and the Houston Rockets in the 2026 NBA playoffs.
LeBron had fallen out of bounds in the third quarter, and Anderson had helped him up. The 41-year-old had a big smile on his face as that happened and was asked postgame about the moment.
“The moment was pretty cool,” LeBron said. “Yeah, I just said it was good to see him. That’s my fourth child. Yeah, him and Bronny are twins and don’t nobody know it. Me and Savannah been trying to keep it under wraps for a long time. But no, no disrespect to his parents.”
Anderson was born to Will Anderson Sr. and Tereon Anderson on Sept. 2, 2001. He is a few years older than Bronny, whom LeBron and Savannah James welcomed on Oct. 6, 2004. The couple would then go on to have two more children together. Their second son, Bryce, was born on June 14, 2007, and their only daughter, Zhuri, was born on Oct. 22, 2014.
Now, Anderson has said he doesn’t think he looks like Bronny, but he doesn’t mind being called LeBron’s son. The two-time Pro Bowler is a big fan of the 22-time All-Star.
Anderson was also asked here which team he thinks LeBron, who averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game in 2025-26, should go to in free agency, and he went with the San Antonio Spurs. Luke Kornet had also hilariously recruited him to the Spurs, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to San Antonio.
LeBron had roasted San Antonio by saying there was nothing to do there. The Spurs are also not among the five reported leading suitors: the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Philadelphia 76ers. So, the basketball icon won’t be joining Anderson in Texas.
LeBron is likely headed to the Eastern Conference, and there is hope that he will announce his decision next week. It will be interesting to see where he chooses to go.
