Nick Wright Admits That Michael Jordan Never Had A Really Dark Playoff Moment Like LeBron James And Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: "Even When He Got Swept, He Wasn't Playing Poorly."

Nick Wright is someone that is known for his continued insistence that LeBron James is the GOAT. While most basketball fans generally agree that Michael Jordan is the NBA GOAT, Wright doesn't even have him as 2nd in his list of the top players from the last 50 years. He got roasted for putting MJ 3rd on his list and has since released a video detailing his argument for making such a controversial claim.

Jordan won 6 championships, had the highest scoring averages in the regular season and postseason, and is considered to be arguably the best clutch performer of all time. Wright got roasted for trying to downplay his achievements, but even he had to acknowledge just how great MJ was when it mattered the most, during the playoffs.

“Unlike LeBron and unlike Kareem, he never had a true dark playoff moment. LeBron obviously in 2011 … Jordan didn’t have that and that’s to his credit. Even when he got swept, he wasn’t playing poorly.”

"Again, I do know the largest MJ followers are gonna be outraged by the general rating, however the video is admittedly value for your time. It's 45 minutes celebrating his profession and making the case as to why he would possibly be the GOAT."

The larger argument that Wright has made is one that most fans roasted him for, but he has admitted that there is a very strong case for MJ to be considered the GOAT. His dominance and his peak have been unmatched before, and after him, this is simply not in dispute.

LeBron and Kareem are both in the conversation for sure, but James will have to do a lot more if he wants to be considered as the GOAT by consensus. No matter what people like Wright say, putting MJ 3rd on any all-time list is nearly akin to blasphemy in several ways.
