Even though the Washington Wizards managed to fight their way back and win on Tuesday vs the Clippers, it is well known that the Wizards management are open to trading everyone on their team due to their awful start to the season.
Even though they have a lot of talent like John Wall, Bradley Beal and Otto Porter Jr they haven’t been able to mesh into anything significant. Their roster has the talent for a top 10 team in the NBA but due to lack of leadership and drive that hasn’t happened.
If we assume that the Wizards will be looking to trade their players and start a rebuild we must then begin to ask where they will go. Thankfully we’ve already got out first big hint thanks to social media.
Russell Westbrook recently followed Bradley Beal on Instagram sending everyone into overdrive. OKC, after losing their first 4 games, have bounced back and are now 10-6 thanks to great team defense. What they lack is outside shooting and are currently last in the league in team 3P% at 31.2%.
Acquiring Beal for future picks, Andre Robertson and Timothe Luwawu would give OKC a great, floor-spacing shooting guard who would work really well with Paul George and Russell Westbrook.
