Paul George is in his third team in the NBA and it's fair to say he hasn't had the same success in the last 6 years, compared to the beginning of his career. PG-13 is part of the Los Angeles Lakers right now, trying to take the Clips to claim the NBA title for the first time ever. However, there is a record that doesn't give much hope to George with his new team.
The last time he won a playoff series, he was still with the Indiana Pacers, in 2014. That year, they reached the Eastern Conference Finals, where LeBron James and co. eliminated them. That marked the last time he actually won a playoff series.
After that, he missed the 2015 playoffs. In 2016, the Toronto Raptors eliminated the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs in seven games. The following year, his first with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Houston Rockets beat them in 5 games.
In 2018, they were upset by a young Utah Jazz led by Donovan Mitchell, which earned PG and Russell Westbrook a lot of criticism for their displays and how they missed a big chance to transcend in the postseason.
Last year, they were defeated by Damian Lillard and his Portland Trail Blazers in five games, with George posing for one of the most memorable shots and pics in the NBA in recent times. That makes six years without winning a single playoff series for PG.
This season he's teamed up with Kawhi Leonard in Los Angeles, trying to take the team to the promised land. This may be the season when George ends that streak. He has the perfect teammate to do something big this postseason.
