LeBron James is a Champion once again, which means his biggest supporters are going to be speaking their loudest until another Champion is named.
Unfortunately for Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, he found himself the target of savagery online after Richard Jefferson called him out for an earlier photo he posted on social media.
For context, Giannis posted that photo after being named the 2019-20 NBA MVP. He was on the plane ride home after being eliminated in the Eastern Conference Semis.
After winning his fourth title, and fourth Finals MVP, it's clear that Bron remains the NBA's best player, despite being 35-years-old. Everyone can agree that Championships matter more than MVP wins, and Bron has established he is still capable of leading his team to Ws.
The question is, can LeBron continue this run? With Father Time not working in his favor and the Bucks desperate to improve their team this offseason, Giannis may very well be the one lifting that Larry O'Brien trophy next June. It'd be the ultimate revenge and validation to his claim as the league's best player.
Nonetheless, that's a scenario that may or may not happen. We'll just have to wait and see.
