Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and some other players have done a lot of great things in the league, earning the right to be called the GOATs by their fans, who are always ready to make the case for them. However, they not only share that characteristic; being great players is the first thing you think of when you talk about James, Bryant and Jordan, but they have also suffered from the same thing and not precisely haters.
Great players like these and others have lost their hair during their NBA careers, ultimately going bald when it was too difficult to hide their 'secret'. Other players like Kevin Durant, Shaquille O'Neal, Ray Allen and more have suffered from this, too, but some tried to hold something that it's already gone, as we recently saw with Durant and the LeBron-like hair he's currently showing.
While some gave up earlier than others, it looks like every great player is meant to lose their hair at some point. There are other exceptions like Bill Russell, Larry Bird, or Wilt Chamberlain, but most of the players that you could name in your all-time top 10 have gone bald sooner than later.
More recently we see LeBron and Kevin Durant. Even though everybody must have told them it's time to let it go, they keep pushing. Now the question isn't if they will lose their hair but when they will finally accept that fact and go completely bald like the rest of the legends.
