Sixer For Life? -- Joel Embiid Wants To Be Like Dirk, Duncan, Kobe

Since "the Process" started back in 2014, things have been a little up-and-down for the 76ers.

While being able to draft young studs like Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, and Ben Simmons, it came with the price of years of losing basketball. Not to mention that those same guys have been plagued with severe injuries, postponing their development.

The 2017 season, while being mostly up-in-the-air, is probably the most promising season they've seen in a while.

With their youngsters finally healthy, the team can finally begin their long-awaited rise to stardom.

And, fortunately for the Sixers, Joel Embiid is one that has already committed to seeing it through. In a chat with NBC's Molly Sullivan, Embiid elaborated on earlier comments about staying in Philadelphia long-term.

"I want to be Kobe Bryant. I want to be Tim Duncan. I want to be Dirk Nowitzki."

For those that don't already know, Kobe, Duncan, and Dirk are part of a very exclusive club. All three have only ever played for one team during their 15+ year long careers, a true rarity in the NBA.

Only time will tell how long Embiid can stay in Philly, as things are always changing. But if you ask #21 himself, he certainly doesn't plan to go anywhere anytime soon.
