Things just keep getting worse in Minnesota. After a relatively disappointing season, the team is now facing some serious internal friction centered around their best two-way player, Jimmy Butler, and the two most impactful young stars on the team in Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins.
Between the three, the Wolves' chemistry isn't expected to be in good shape for this upcoming season.
All this is leading up to some sort of break-up, with Jimmy Butler likely being the first one to go.
Nick Friedell first came out with the story:
"Being around that [Timberwolves] team a lot last year, I think Jimmy is probably going to be gone a year from right now"
Of course, with these leaks being made public, it probably means Butler is going to be traded at some point before the deadline to prevent the team from losing him for nothing.
Either way, it's becoming increasingly unlikely that Jimmy Buckets stays in a Timberwolves jersey beyond this season.
