The Golden State Warriors super team that consists of two MVP’s in Steph Curry and Kevin Durant have had incredible team chemistry on the court in their two and half seasons together. However, Curry has revealed that the first season with Durant was certainly “difficult” at times.

Steph Curry spoke with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski about the adjustments that he needed to make when adding another superstar to the roster.

“To be honest, that first year playing together, it was me,” Curry told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. “Just how I was used to getting shots, how I was used to playing, what not, it was a little different. So I had to make certain adjustments and there were times where it was difficult.”

When Durant came into the team, Steph Curry was coming off back to back league MVP’s, adding another star player who shoots a lot would certainly affect Curry’s game.

It didn’t take too long for the pair to readjust though as the Warriors have won the last two championships with a great chance of increasing that to a three-peat this season.

The big question on everyone’s lips now is where Kevin Durant will be playing next season. Although the Golden State Warriors are the favorites to win this season’s championship, it’s been highly speculated that Durant will look to move teams at the end of the season.

The duo of Curry and Durant has been an amazing one so far and if Durant does decide to stay with the Warriors, who knows how many championships this team could win.
