The Golden State Warriors’ point guard Stephen Curry is set to break more records in the NBA and this upcoming season he will actually set a new one.
Let’s recall that Curry agreed to a five-year supermax deal worth around $201 million total with the Warriors back in 2017, which has led him to become the highest-paid NBA player this season and the first-ever baller to earn $40 million in a single NBA season.
Curry has collected several accolades both individual and collective, being considered one of the best players in the world right now and arguably the greatest shooter in the history of the league.
Behind him, Russell Westbrook is the second-highest-paid player in the league this upcoming season, with $38.5 million, the same amount that Chris Paul will get. James Harden and John Wall will receive the same $38.1 million payment this season to finish the top five highest-paid players in the league.
Steph is set to demonstrate the Warriors aren’t done this campaign and he will have another motive to prove he can lead his team to be contenders once again despite the summer of changes they lived.
