Stephen A. Smith: 'James Harden Doesn't Matter Vs Warriors Because The Rockets Will Lose'

The inevitable meeting between the Rockets and Warriors is quickly closing in, and the anticipation for this second round matchup is probably the highest it has ever been.

Last season we saw Houston push Golden State to the brink, pushing the series to seven games in a high-intensity shoot off. If not for an injury to Chris Paul in game six, many are inclined to believe that the Rockets would have eliminated the Warriors in that series.

Fast forward a year, with the two on track to meet again, there is widespread speculation that the Rockets still pose a significant threat to the defending Champs.

Stephen A Smith is not one of those believers, however, and all but brushed off the idea of Houston pulling off the upset in a recent segment on ESPN's First Take morning show.

Harden has been on a tear recently, leading all players in scoring this postseason. If he continues this stroke in round 2, Houston will be a hard team to stop.

Though, for guys in Stephen A's camp, it will not matter anyway. Golden State is simply just too good.

The good news is, we will not have to wait much longer to find out.
