It was an all-around team effort from the Warriors Wednesday night as they close out the game in Oracle to take a 2-1 series lead over the defending Champs. Even with as well as the Raptors played, though, one can't help but feel fortunate for them about the injuries to Golden State.
Without Kevin Durant or Klay Thompson, the Warriors were a shell of themselves, and the Raptors took advantage.
But with Klay soon to return, and Kevin Durant likely to follow, can the Raptors close out the series? ESPN's Stephen A Smith is adamant that if the Dubs have Klay and Durant back healthy at some point, there is nothing the Warriors need to worry about -- it's a wrap.
It is true, the Warriors with all their cards on the table is nearly impossible to beat. They are the two-time defending Champs for a reason. But with two games out of the way, can Toronto really not win two more out of their next four?
If guys like Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry, and Danny Green continue to step up and show out, they might be able to withstand an onslaught by the Warriors. Either way, the Raptors took care of business and won a must-win game in Oracle. Now, they have to hope they can do it again as Klay returns and KD nears his a comeback of his own.
