After boasting the worst record in the West this past season, the Phoenix Suns are looking for some serious roster upgrades. The number 6 pick might be used to get them there.

The Phoenix Suns have told other NBA teams they are open to trading out of the No. 6 overall slot for a veteran guard.

The Suns have been searching for a starting point guard for several seasons.

The Suns have long needed a replacement at the point guard spot. Since both of the top point guards, Ja Morant and Darius Garland, are expected to be gone by the sixth selection, it is unlikely they will find someone they like that late in the draft.

The Grizzlies, who are overturning their roster with young talent, might be one team to step up -- offering Conley in exchange. The Heat could join the chase as well and might dangle a guy like Gordan Dragic in exchange.

In a summer where so many moving parts are going to change the face of the league, it will be interesting to see how a potential Suns trade will change things even further.
