The NBA is cracking down on making teams report the actual height and weight of their players. Unsurprisingly, a lot of guys lost inches in the official, updated report.

Among them is Celtics rookie sensation Tacko Fall, who is apparently not as tall as we all believed. According to the Celtics' reports, Fall is actually 7'5", not 7'7" (as he was originally listed).

Despite the lost inches, the 7-foot-5, 310-pound big-man is still the biggest player on the roster, and one of the biggest in the NBA.

Fall averaged 11 points and 7.6 rebounds in 24 minutes per game this past season for UCF. He went undrafted in the 2019 draft but was later picked up by the Celtics before agreeing to a short-term deal.

There is little doubt about Fall's role with the team. He will be called to help back up Enes Kanter off the bench and is expected to provide bring shot-blocking and rebounding to the second-unit.

He may have gotten a little shorter, but his long and lanky frame should give Boston an edge under the rim. Hopefully, Fall is given the chance to grow and excel his game further this upcoming season.
