LeBron James

LeBron James was one of the most hyped prospects in high school. He had a lot of hype coming into the league, and there's no doubting that he has lived up to all of the expectations that people had.

Recently, a video of teenage LeBron James surfaced, where he talked about whether his dream was to play in the league. LeBron James had an astute response, claiming that his dream was to see his mother "happy every day", but that playing in the league was more of a goal.

“I look at my goal and my dream as two different things. My dream is to see my mother happy everyday, but my goal is to get to the NBA.”

It is clear that LeBron James has achieved his goal, and he has ensured that his family will be set for a long time with what he has been able to accomplish in the league. His playoff resume is absolutely spectacular, as he's played in 10 Finals and won 4 championships. LeBron James ended up responding to the post on Twitter, jokingly asking where people are finding this content of him. He also wished a Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.

LeBron James had an amazing individual season with the Los Angeles Lakers this year, having one of his best scoring seasons to date. However, the Los Angeles Lakers ended up missing the playoffs entirely, and it's clear that there are some changes that need to be made ahead of next season for them to be a competitive team.

There's no doubt that LeBron James has defied Father Time for a while, and it's clear that he can still play at a high level and help a team win a championship. Hopefully, he gets an opportunity to do so next season.
