The Cleveland Cavaliers Have Acquired Caris LeVert From Indiana Pacers

The Cleveland Cavaliers keep upgrading their roster amid a terrific 2021/22 NBA season. The 2016 NBA champions already traded for Rajon Rondo and now they added another talented guard to the ranks.

Caris LeVert is making his way from Indiana to Cleveland, joining one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference this season. After being traded to Indiana in the blockbuster 4-team trade that sent James Harden to Brooklyn, Caris has shown interesting things in Indianapolis, earning attention from around the league.

The Pacers were reportedly shopping him, Myles Turner, and Domantas Sabonis, and the Cavs were linked with a move for him for a couple of weeks now. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the Cavs have finally completed this trade. Ricky Rubio is also part of this trade, as well as a series of draft picks.

Full trade: Indiana sends Caris LeVert and a 2022 second-round pick via Miami to Cleveland for Ricky Rubio, lottery-protected 2022 first-round pick, 2022 second-round pick via Houston and a 2027 second-round pick via Utah, per sources.

LeVert is an excellent addition to Cleveland. He's still young and can become a solid player for the Cavs. The Cavaliers are making interesting moves in recent times and adding this player is a boost for them.

The young team keeps adding quality pieces and we can't wait to see what's next for one of the most promising squads in the league right now. In 39 games with the Pacers, LeVert averaged 18.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and shot for 44.7% from the field and 32.3% from beyond the arc.
