The Los Angeles Clippers starred in a very embarrassing game on Sunday, losing by 51 points against the Dallas Mavericks, at home, earning a lot of jokes and criticism for their displays that reminded the public of their fiasco during the bubble, where they lost a 3-1 advantage over the Denver Nuggets.

The Clips keep finding ways to embarrass themselves and this was a really ugly one. The game left us a lot of interesting stats to know, but there was one that makes this even more impressive. If the Mavericks didn't score a single point in the second half of the game, they would have still won the game by 4 points.

The first half of the game ended 77-27 for the Mavericks. The final outcome of the game was 124-73, 51 points of difference. Had the Mavs not scored a single point in the 3rd and 4th quarter, the game would have ended 77-73 for the Clippers, which only makes this incredibly awful.

After the game was over, Paul George played down any comment claiming the team is going through a crisis right now, explaining that it was just a one-day thing. Moreover, Luka Doncic was happy to see his team playing like a competitive squad and made it clear that they are a serious team.

This was a historical game; that's already being stated but the Mavericks could have done more things to the Clippers and make everything worse for the Californians. It was really a bad moment for the Los Angelenos team but they're ready to bounce back and forget about all the bad things they've suffered in recent times.
